There are many interesting places near Santiago. You can visit them in day-long trips, leaving from Casaltura.

• Valparaíso: The main port of Chile, is a neighbor city of Viña del mar and renowned for its gastronomy and architechtural value. Declared World Heritage by the Unesco in 2003, the city is a must-see place for every tourist.
• Vineyards: Santiago is surrounded by the best vineyards in the region. We recommend visiting vineyards located in the city and in Pirque, just south of Santiago. The vineyards of Casablanca close to the coast, and the Colchagua valley to the south, one of the most modern in the world.
• Cajón del Maipo: Close to the imposing Andes are many easily accesible activities for the tourist. Just 50 kms (35 miles) from Santiago. Trekking, horseback riding, climbing and canyoning. In summertime you can practice rafting and river kayaking (difficulty level  classes III and IV)
