One of the most atractive places is La Chascona, house of the poet Pablo neruda located in Barrio Bellavista; only 25 minutes away from our hostel. Easily accessed, the area is renowned for its bohemia, artistic life and extensive gastronomical offer. You can stroll around and by Constitución street, neural point of Santiago's nightlife and where you will find the best bars and clubs in town. .

A few blocks away from there, you will find another emblematic neighborhood: Barrio Lastarria, place of intellectuals and bohemians, where you will find bookstores, art galleries, stores, cafes, bars and restaurants. If you want high-quality shows, the Teatro Municipal has a number of shows: ballet, opera and concerts. In Santiago downtown you can also visit the Matucana 100 cultural center with theathers, art galleries and other disciplines carried out through out the year.
