Things to do in Santiago: General Circuit in Santiago (1 - 2 days)
activities |
If you only have a few days to visit our city, Casaltura recommends you a few places to visit only a few steps away from our hostel.
A few blocks away, to the South, you will find Plaza de Armas, civic center of the city, where you may visit several historical buildings like the Catedral Metropolitana, the Museo Histórico Nacional, and the Museo Postal Correos de Chile; symbols of the fundational architecture of the country.
Close to the plaza, 5 blocks to the East, is Cerro Santa Lucia, a symbol of Santiago where you can walk through the classic Barrio Lastarria, commercial and gastronomical center, where diverse stores, theaters and cafes are located, which in turn join the Parque Forestal, one of most beautiful strolls in the city and where you will find the Museo de Bellas Artes, showcase of the most important international and domestic artists.
If you want to eat well, we recommend visiting the Mercado Central, located in front of our hostel, just a block away. The place specializes in seafood and is considered one of the most traditional and gastronomically better places in town.
